While most insurance plans cover individual counseling, some require prior authorization from the insurance company. Since we are listed by name rather than as Magnolia Counseling and Wellness please give the name of the counselor you'll be consulting with. You can also ask your insurance company whether you have a deductible or co-pay plan for your counseling sessions.
If there are any changes in your insurance coverage, please contact our office staff with your new information for us to make those updates.
Our private pay rate is $150 for a 50 minute individual session.
Many clients prefer to pay for therapy services themselves in order to protect their confidentiality. Most insurance companies require a clinical diagnosis and may request copies of records in order to be eligible for reimbursement. If you do not use your insurance, we are not required to share this type of information with your insurance provider.
We accept cash, check and all major credit cards as forms of payment. You can update your payment information at any time by logging into your TherapyAppointment portal.
We have established a sliding scaling for session fees so that those in need are able to be provided counseling. Please do not let finances stand in your way of receiving services. Let our office staff know and we'll be happy to chat with you about an adjusted session fee!
24 hour notice is required to cancel or reschedule appointments. Cancellations or missed appointments without 24 hour notice will be billed $50. Cancellation fees are the responsibility of the client and cannot be billed to insurance.
